We are so happy to say that we finally received a referral for our daughter!! She is almost 4 years old and is absolutely precious with the sweetest smile. She looks like she has so much personality - we can't wait to get to Ethiopia to meet her! AND, she has an "H" name! We couldn't believe it. (Our son's names both begin with an H). God is in the details.
We pray that we will be able to get a court date and travel to Ethiopia to meet her in December. It would be amazing if we passed Embassy and get to come home before the Ethiopian Christmas on January 7th, but we'll have to see how the timeline plays out. It looks like we will still have to make two trips. We will be able to post pictures and her name after we pass court, so check back around December to hopefully see pictures.
We're so thankful to finally be at this point. God's timing is so perfect - I can't imagine another little girl other than our sweet "H". I know the wait is so long and tough - praying for all of the families that are on either end of the waiting period. I was wondering when we'd get to see this referral post here! Hooray!!! What will be even more wonderful is hearing about your trip to meet "H"! We were there around Christmas 2012 as well - we flew out on Christmas day! Best Christmas present ever!! Congratulations again!!!
